Hey ladies, I have found my eyeshadow dream and my choice for this New Years Eve. It is bold and gold and only from Nars. I am going to shimmy my way into the New Year and I am going to look fabulous in this Nars eyeshadow with gold particles. That said, I will have to watch the Queen of Blending for some tips on how to do this look up right. New Years is on the way and so are we. Whew hew!
Okay, I bought my luscious Bobbi Brown lipstick about a month ago and was wearing it with my MAC Chestnut liner. Well, I was in class today and putting on just a touch when the whole lipstick fell out. I have to think that this is an anomaly, because Bobbi is supposed to put out a superior lipstick. I usually buy MAC and this has never happened before. I didn't twist it all the way out or bend it so horribly that it fell off. No, I was just trying to use it. Okay ladies, I have to know whether this has happened to you. Well, has it? Do tell. My future with Bobbi is on the line.

Well, there is some good news indeed on 5th Avenue in New York. The much anticipated Juicy Couture flagship store opened on Monday amidst a long crowd of eager shoppers and lookey loos. The new 12,000 square foot store is simply a Juicy l overs paradise, complete with a tracksuit bar and shoe counter. The outer facade is decked in gold, while the inner store is bubblegum pink, with a gothic twist. With such oppulence and grandeur, let's just call it the princess palace that it is. The next time you hit up the big apple, don't you dare miss your chance to be simply Juicy. I know I won't.

I have always thought that Halle Berry was a beautiful woman. It's no doubt that Esquire has chosen her as the sexiest woman of the year. This comes on the heels of her being in a happy relationship with her beau, Gabrielle Aubry and the birth of her daughter, Nahla. She looks happy, healthy and beautiful as ever. I personally think they got it right with this one.
In today's harsh economic times, the last thing we need is some company trying to rip us off. Well, as you know, I am moving to mineral makeup. I think I said this in my last post. Anyway, I was sound asleep last evening and I woke up to an infomercial for Sheer Cover Mineral Makeup. I was half asleep and half awake, but I was impressed with the coverage and more importantly, the price of $29.95. It comes with all these brushes, makeup, concealer, eyeshadow and more. The only reason I didn't buy it on the spot was because my purse was downstairs and I didn't feel like going to get it. Lo and behold, I pull them up online today and you can get the same deal, except the shipping isn't free. However, the caveat is that you become a member and they begin to send you these little kits or you can even make your own kit. Well, they didn't say how much the kits were, which raised the radar. They don't even tell you how much the products are unless you are already on their delivery list. After further research and a quick check on the Rip Off Report, they had a laundry list of complaints about improper charging and delayed refunds. Needless to say, I won't be purchasing from them. Ladies, be ever so vigilant in checking out companies whose promises seem too good to be true. They almost always are. If I see it on a cart somewhere, I might be tempted, but not off the tele.
Estee Lauder Cosmetics has always been considered an upscale cosmetics company with affiliations to only the top echelon in retail department stores. You'll be happy to know that they have partnered with the Walmart Corporation to release a new scent under the C-Thru moniker. The trio is set to be released as a gift set in December at Walmart and then roll out to Kohls and Target. With the economy as it is, I hope they leave the high prices back at the finer department stores and give us some Walmart love on pricing. I'm sure that the prices will be retail friendly since it's home will be stores like Walmart, Kohls and Target. I will check it out when it releases and do a review on it. The real question is "how does it smell". I will do a review on it when the fragrance is released.

Call me weird, but that's what happened to me when I was thinking of one of my favorite products, which is the sensational Love Butter by Carol's Daughter. I was introduced to the product when my mum secured one for me 
during a trip to Sephora at the Las Vegas Fashion Mall. I bet you're wondering why I love it. Well, it might be the cinnamin stick that's lodged right in the middle. Or it might be the way it goes on sooo smooth - just like butta! Whatever the case, it's one of my favorite products and one that I know you will love. For a 4 ounce size, the cost is $18.00, which lasts me about two months with applications that are quite liberal. Oh yes, and I am not the only one that loves Carols Daughter. She has a very impressive list of celebrity clients like Jada Pinkett-Smith, Mary J. Blige and Beyonce. Ahhh, I love to share the love - Love Butter that is.
